Description: It’s been a minute since I made some smaller, gestural and more affordable originals. So here’s the first from what might become a series inspired by a trip to the Waddington Range. Almost 8 years ago, my close friend Drew Thayer and I went to the Waddington Range of British Columbia to try some big routes and a first-ascent / enchainment. The mountains and icefalls were crumbling, the weather hammered us, and I got food poisoning. We didn’t accomplish any of our big objectives, but at least we got to spend some quality time spooning in a shared sleeping as we waiting out a storm.
