Description: Here’s the 2nd from a series inspired by a trip to the Waddington Range. Almost 8 years ago, my close friend Drew Thayer and I went to the Waddington Range of British Columbia to try some big routes and a first-ascent / enchainment. This peak is a smaller sub-peak of Waddinton which we bivvied near at one of our high camps. The mountains and icefalls were crumbling, the weather hammered us, and I got food poisoning. We didn’t accomplish any of our big objectives, but at least we got to spend some quality time spooning in a shared sleeping as we waiting out a storm.
